I am delighted to join Issaquah School District at Skyline High School for my fourth year of teaching. I grew up in Redmond, WA and after graduating from Redmond High School, I attended University of Washington. There, I earned a bachelor's degree in Language and Literature. After some years home with my young children I decided to go back to school, earning my Masters in Teaching from Seattle University with endorsements in Secondary English/Language Arts and Special Education. The only thing I regret is not beginning my teaching career earlier, as I cannot imagine a more rewarding vocation. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family, reading, hiking or exploring local trails with my Quarter horse and Australian Shepherd dog. I am proud to call beautiful Issaquah, WA my home and I look forward to working with students and families in my community.
