Monday 9/12 will be Drill practice day due to last week's postponement. It was wonderful to meet all the parents who were able to make it out to Curriculum Night last Thursday! School Clubs are holding their first meetings, be sure to attend if you are interested. Friday 9/16 is our first home football game! I hope everyone had a restful Labor Day weekend. Tuesday is Drill Day! We will be participating in school wide practice of emergency drills. Thursday evening is curriculum night, see you all there. LA - 9 & LA 10-12 Tues/Wed: Edge Placement Assessments and Writing Benchmark Thurs/Fri: Begin work in Edge Curriculum at appropriate levels and first Novel unit of the year. Learning Strategies & Reading/Writing Lab Remember to have your planner out at the beginning of class. Tues: Grade Day! Check all grades in Skyward, record them on your Daily Activity Sheet and write a goal for the week. Then graph your GPA. Wed/Thurs: Transition surveys. Fri: Skills practice (Self Advocacy) I'm excited to get our year going next week and meet all of my students! Here is a brief explanation of what I would like to cover our first two days together. All Classes: 9/1 We will go over classroom expectations and norms along with daily routines.
